Giveaway: Cast Iron Combo Cooker

This post may contain affiliate links. See full disclosure here.

Each month during the Someone Else’s Shoes experience I have a giveaway to coincide with that month’s ‘theme’. This month, the experience is Money v. Time.

How much time do you spend in your kitchen preparing meals, snacks and cleaning up? Can a person with an ‘low to average’ food budget enjoy a real food diet? These are the questions being looked at this month. I hope you will follow along and offer your suggestions for saving time and/or stretching the food budget.

Now for this month’s giveaway/sweepstakes. Your real food kitchen needs a great cast iron skillet! Even better, how about two cast iron pieces?

This pre-seasoned Combo Cooker is a deep skillet plus a lid that doubles as a shallow skillet or griddle. I have something similar and love it. I use my combo for making no-knead artisan bread, these awesome ribs and tons of other things.  Just yesterday, I used the ‘lid’ to make pancakes.  You will love this!

-“Don’t throw those in the recycle bin!” The poor young man wasn’t sure how to take the comment or my tone. He was just holding some rusted old skillets in his hand and standing in the elevator. I back-peddled a bit: neither of those skillets are bad/broken…they just need to be seasoned (I gently explained).
    -Love skillets!
