Last week was an odd one. Monday morning I was feeding the chickens, went to move a bag of chicken feed and hurt my back. I spent most of the week on the couch or in the bed. It was not very fun. Today I’m much better but being very careful. Last night we had an incident with stray(?) dogs coming around and killing two of our chickens. Today I’m on dog patrol hoping they do not return. This is the kind of ‘excitement’ that I could for sure do without.

I’m anticipating a quiet week this week. No temp jobs scheduled for this week (I do have one for next week) and no big plans. Kiki is out of school for the week when she arrives home on Tuesday and Joe will be off for the week when he arrives home on Wednesday. Lulu my virtual school girl, has classes Monday through Wednesday. Sierra is home from college for winter break. A few days off all together will be nice!
