I suppose I should have known better…
My first mistake was using the antique pie plate instead of the proper baking dish.
Hot plate and room temperature water apparently do not mix.
Oh no! I hate when I do something like that and break a beloved dish. For me this week, it was my serving platter – thankfully not antique, but also not made anymore. 🙁
That’s not good either 🙁 I’m actually running out of glass things due to breakage.
I did that last fall cooking pumpkins. Only I ruined my pampered chef stonewear. Ugg. Sorry that happened! It is so frustrating.
Oh no! Those stonewear items are not cheap. I keep wanting to buy the bread pan but I hold off until…I don’t know until when. I keep thinking until the children are older but it seems lately I’m the one breaking things! 😉
