Hi Nicci,
Cast iron is terrific! The set that I show here is especially nice because the lid is actually another skillet. I have a similar type thing myself and love it.

Any of them would be great, but I am partial to the Cast Iron. It is so versatile and can be used stovetop, oven, and even outside if the power ever goes out. So Cast Iron pan combo is my vote.

  I use mine camping also. I have not been camping in a while though. I love cooking over an open fire and plan on doing it some this year even if I do it in my own back garden. LOL.
