It’s fall in Wyoming and I have apples on the brain!

Each fall we like to stock up on apples. I often order these by the case from Azure Standard or pick locally from friends.  I love to dehydrate apples to have for snacking and baking through the winter but we also enjoy eating them fresh for as long as they’ll last.

This is on my list to try! I saw this recipe the other day and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Joe loves cheesecake and this would make a wonderful dessert for our upcoming wedding anniversary (now if only I have an oven before then…). I’ll substitute sucanat for the brown sugar and powdered sucanat for the powdered sugar (powder it by whirling sucanat in the blender).  What a beautiful looking dish.
